10/02/2021 First South Yorkshire Online Rapidplay Tournament (open to all) More than 40 players have already entered the inaugural South Yorkshire Online Rapidplay Open which starts on February 17th. The tournament, which is open to all comers, is being organised by Rotherham Online Chess and will be played over eight rounds, one per week, with a time rate of 15 minutes + 10-second increment per move. Players can decide each week which day to play their game at a time to suit themselves and their opponent. Half-point byes are available in all rounds, except the final round. Entries close at midnight on Tuesday, February 16^th.
