Sheffield Individual Championships

first round results and second round draw

The Individual Championships, though the start was delayed, seem to have created a record short time for the completion of round 1, with Tournament Controller Geoff Brown sending out an e-mail as follows.

Hi everyone

Wow!  It's only been eleven days since I sent out Round 1 pairings and the round is complete already.  Brilliant.  Thank you everyone for playing your part in making that happen.

With the early finish of Round 1, we're a couple of weeks ahead of schedule.  I've therefore given a few extra days for this second round.  Could you play your games and send me the results no later than Saturday, 17th February 2024 please?

To keep up with the tournament results you can follow proceedings on Sheffield's LMS page at Sheffield Individual Championships | ECF League Management System (ecflms.org.uk)

If anyone has any queries, or any problems arranging their games, then please let me know.  Sooner rather than later.

Best wishes

Geoff Brown
