23/02/2021 4NCL On Line League Season 3, Round 3
The third round of the new season of the on-line 4NCL (senior) league was played on Tuesday 23/02/2021. Sheffield is represented by Darnall & Handsworth and Sheffield Deaf, both in Division 4, the first winning and the second losing, as detailed below.
Of some interest was a Division 1 match which featured 3 players resident in the territory of Sheffield & District CA. As shown below, Sheffield-resident Gawain Jones and Rotherham-resident Oskar Hackner both played for Chessable White Rose 1, while the opposing Manchester-based team included Ravenfield-resident Peter Ackley!
