Sheffield Chess Congress

The Sheffield Chess Congress was revived in 2023.  The previous series ran from 2011 to 2017.

 

Due to unexpected pressures of work etc, the organiser of the 2023 Sheffield Chess Congress had decided he cannot manage to run the event again in 2024, which had originally been planned for 5th and 6th October,

 

Would-be entrants in 2024 were directed to

the 2nd Sheffield Chess International
held on Fri-Sun 5th to 6th October
at the Sheffield Chess Centre, 329A Coleford Road, S9 5NF
which has intentionally been put on this weekend as a replacement.
